Set in landscaped parkland Grand Hotel Villa Tuscolana is a 16th-century building, just one kilometer from Frascati center. The villa was built in 1578 by the family Rufini on the ruins of the ancient home of Marcus Tullius Cicero, and is currently one of the most remarkable example of monumental and historic stately mansions. During the XVII century was enlarged by the great architect Luigi Vanvitelli, famous for the design of the Reggia of Caserta.
Rooms here are air conditioned and have a minibar. Some rooms and the hotel's elegant common areas have views over Rome and the Vatican City, 25.7 km away.
There is an outdoor pool, and guests can relax in the Lympha Spa. This spa center contains Turkish baths, saunas, emotional showers and an indoor pool, built into natural caves.
A great base for exploring the Castelli Romani towns on the hills above Rome.
