The Golf Club Parco de’ Medici is immersed in 85 hectares of parkland and has Three courses:
The White Course, 9 holes, mt.3056, par 35 and the Blue Course, 9 holes, mt.3247, par 36 were designed by Pietro Fazio and Davide Mezzacane in 1989 and laid out for high-level tournaments.
The beautiful lakes create the perfect habitat for all kinds of flora and fauna:
Olive trees, Cypress trees, Mediterranean Pine trees, laurel, broom and Mediterranean shrubs.
Herons, wild ducks and tortoises.
The Red Course, 9 holes, mt. 2805, par 35, was designed by Fabiano Rebecchini and was opened in Sept. 1997.
The course is interesting and peculiar because of its beautiful greens.
The Golf complex includes:
2 putting greens, the driving range with a pitching area and a putting green, an outdoor pool, a Restaurant, a bar and a bouvette.
The Golf Club Parco de’ Medici is in Rome, on the site where during the 15th century, Pope Leo X had his private hunting grounds.
The ruins of a first century B.C. dwelling are situated near the fairway of hole 18.
